The Christmas holidays are (or are nearly) upon us: 

Merry Christmas, one and all

This year, Jenny and I will be "At Home"

at Outer Magnolia, Kirkwall, and online,

from 1500GMT until late on 

Tuesday 30 December 2014.

If we are friends or colleagues, 

please hangout with us sometime that day if you can!!

There will be beer, soup and some other things, 

and Christamassy chat!

 It will start to get late in a few hours
(within the meaning of this event,
which started at 1500GMT on Tue 30 Dec 2014
at Outer Magnolia, Kirkwall (and online),
and will carry on - at least in spirit -
until it is *actually* "late"!)

But if you would like to
come and visit us today  (Sun 04-JAN-2015)
(especially before about 1930GMT,
by which time, we may be in bed!)
 from near or far (at the house or online),
we'd be delighted to see you!

 You've missed the Scapa Special (or the best of it, anyway),
and the turkey is long gone,
and the decorations are coming down -
but there's all sorts of soup, and other beer,
and 11th night/hour Christmassy chat!

I had a blast last night (and several Scapa Specials, boom, boom)
thanks for coming, and making the night a good one!

This event is not, technically, over!
We're intending "late" to be interpreted as
"anytime until the morning of Sunday 04-JAN-2015".

So, whether you were here last night or not,
please consider coming round anytime
to help me finish off the Scapa Special,
and help both of us eat the leftovers!
