#digitalbroth - including soup at my house

Some of us are starting to meet occasionally for a bowl of soup, and a chat about digital services (or anything else) in Orkney (or anywhere else): we're meeting about 5ish most Wednesdays, at my house in Kirkwall. Some others (including some members of Dave Briggs' online community) are planning sometimes to connect with us via Google Hangout.

Whoever you are, you are welcome to join in, using your preferred mode of attendance - if your mode of attendance is remote, you will need to provide your own soup (or similar).

#digitalbroth (at my house, and online)
  • Wednesday eventings from 5ish
  • I will make soup for those who come to my house (Outer Magnolia, Weyland Terrace, KW15 1LS)
  • You can choose to attend in person at my house - if so, you are welcome to bring something (other than soup) to eat and/or drink to share
  • We will probably discuss anything related to digital services (or anything else) in Orkney (or elsewhere)
  • You can choose to attend by Google Hangout from wherever you are at the time (in Orkney or elsewhere)
  • Other remote attendance options may sometimes be possible sometimes - either organise it yourself, or contact me
  • We can also meet at other times, if we can get organised to do so
  • Sometime in the future we might rename Orkney ICT Forum, and call it digitalOrkney, if others agree
  • Unless it is otherwise claimed, we meet as individuals, representing no one but ourselves
  • We respect and will collaborate with everyone else in Orkney (and elsewhere) thinking about and working on digital services (or anything else)
  • We might do events at other Orkney venues (or elsewhere); if we do, there will be remote attendance options
  • I will do my best to find a way of intimating what I believe might happen each week (apart from soup in Kirkwall, and a Google Hangout) - until further notice, any such intimation will appear somewhere on this blog
