BREAKING>>>>> A Pox on What You Said: Let The Sun of Truth Shining in The Times we are in Broadcast what we WISH you had said...

One of my favourite weeknight things (here in Orkney, Scotland) is watching last night's episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, on More4 at 2030 GMT.

Jon has been bearding the Pox News lion in his own den recently, and it looks as if they have been less than entirely sympathetic in their editing of their guest's appearances on Pox's The O'Reilly Factor show (has anyone outside the bible belt even heard of this O'Reilly guy, by theway?). Gawker.com has done a piece on the ...erm... "slight differences in emphasis" between what was recorded during a 42 minute interview, and what was broadcast by Pox in a couple of short segments.

Remember ... Pox News is owned by the same people (i.e. person) who bring us The Times, The Sun and Sky News in the UK.

Thank God for OfCom (in a way!) and the BBC Trust (sort of!!).
