It will be a slightly expanded version of the review in Orkney Today, which will be available from all good Orkney paper shops, Argos, other local shops, ferries, the Co-op (and no doubt an indifferent supermarket or 2) on the same day.

SCDA Northern Divisional One-Act Play Festival
Orkney Arts Theatre, Kirkwall
Thu 25 - Sat 27 March 2010, at 7pm
Following the excitement in Kirkwall of the Orkney District SCDA One-Act Play Festival at the end of February, which saw three teams given the opportunity to represent the Orkney District at the Northern Divisional Final, the other 5 teams from Aberdeen (with Shetland), Angus and Perthshire Districts have begun to arrive to prop up the bars and energise the clubs ["to have their hour-long technical rehearsal on the stage and prepare for their performances", shurely? Ed.] in Kirkwall.
I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones, as the Festival gets underway! If I can drag myself away from the festivities, I will try to comment here at some point about how everyone is getting on!

Birsay Drama Group (Brough): The Wine Game
an original comedy by Isobel Ross Moar.
Because of a rule which states each drama club can only submit one play into the northern divisional festival, Birsay Drama Group's production of Cinderella, which came second in the Orkney heat, will not be going forward.
The festival's adjudicator is to be Tony Rushforth, who said he is delighted to be paying his first visit to Kirkwall.
